A Civil War Wedding
Time Magazine photographer playing the part of maid of honor and holding the bouquet!
We had a Civil War wedding in our unit during the 150th Gettysburg Event. I was a wonderful day even with the heat. I almost melted, it was a new experience taking photos in my full 1860's outfit. It is much harder to get interesting angles in a hoop, just sayin'. We had press wandering around all weekend so when one asked if he could take some pic during the ceremony it was no big deal. Afterward when they are doing the interview we find out he was with Time Magazine, not bad.
They did video for their website can't wait to see it!
Knit Models
Spent a wonderful Saturday having a photo shoot highlighting some knit items headed for The Mad Knitter Shop on Etsy. Everyone was a sport about it especially when bribed with chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. I still stand by that when shooting kids you need a second pair of hands, it wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable if Laura(the mom) wasn't there styling the kids and keeping the others out of the trees and backgrounds. Love the Myers Family!
