Operating Room's new table

Gina and I went to one of the hospitals in the area for a story about the new OR table that is used for an anterior approach to a hip replacement, where surgeons enter the body through the front. This procedure uses a smaller incision, is less traumatic to tissue, offers a faster recovery and experiences less pain. Very exciting let me tell you, and no there was no surgery going on.

We had to get gowned up to go in.
lighting test, Gina is a good sport

The goof in the back is the PR lady for the hospital she didn't realize she was in the shot luckily the frames surrounding this one she is behinde the nurse's head.

Klondike Derby

The local Boy Scout Troop was getting ready for the Klondike derby last night and the assistant scout master just happens to work in advertising so what do you know I get to go cover them lashing the sleds together. The race is Saturday and sadly Rob gets to cover it, sorry Rob.

By the way I really really don't like church basement lighting.

XMas lights

We were sent around the counties we live in to take photos of the "best" xmas decorations, to fill space on days when there is little art for the local page. These were the two I liked the best of what I took.

A day with members of the United States Post Office. It was really fun.
