Barn Raising

A group of Amish and Mennonite men ignored the 4 inches of snow that was falling to add the trusses and roof to a barn that burned down last Dec. They were almost done with the trusses by the time I left, they moved fast.

Operating Room's new table

Gina and I went to one of the hospitals in the area for a story about the new OR table that is used for an anterior approach to a hip replacement, where surgeons enter the body through the front. This procedure uses a smaller incision, is less traumatic to tissue, offers a faster recovery and experiences less pain. Very exciting let me tell you, and no there was no surgery going on.

We had to get gowned up to go in.
